IMEG Corp is one of the largest engineering consulting firms in the U.S. specializing in high-performing building systems, infrastructure, and construction-related services. With a global footprint of 32 offices and a deep bench of nearly 1,000 team members, we know the technical skills of our people is our product and we strive to build long-lasting client relationships through our guiding principles, expertise, and iterative project approach.
Formed in 2015, through a merger of KJWW Engineering Consultants and TTG Engineers, IMEG’s strength is our willingness to collaborate and reach beyond the status quo, challenging ourselves to be thought leaders and innovators in the A/E/C industry. The IMEG team has pushed the envelope in infrastructure design and sustainability as demonstrated by our many “firsts” and award recognitions.
The merger created a 900-employee workforce spread across 25 national and five international locations. In addition to offering an expanded geographic reach, the alignment allowed a greater depth and breadth of engineering, project management, and building design services to be available from the merged organizations, which continue to operate as TTG and KJWW under the creation of, IMEG Corp, a holding company with common management. Commonality between the similarly-sized firms was a driving factor behind the merger.
TTG and KJWW combined to bring 114 years of experience, along with many award-winning projects and “firsts” in sustainable design, such as the world’s largest lake-coupled geothermal system, the largest LEED Platinum office building in the U.S., the first LEED Platinum data center in the U.S., the first LEED Platinum university building in Illinois, and the first GSA-owned building Certified LEED Platinum in the nation.
