IMEG was formed in 2015 through a merger of KJWW Engineering and TTG Engineers, and was joined by the FES Group in 2016 and JanCom Technologies, Taylor RyMar, Missman Inc., and McClure Engineering Associates in 2017. IMEG strives to build long-lasting client relationships through our guiding principles, expertise, and iterative project approach.
1955: TTG founded as Tharaldson and Matthewson. Two additional partners, Argabright and Doby, were added and the firm became TMAD. The company was incorporated in 1962.
1961: KJWW was founded by Walter Kimmel and Ward Jensen, later joined by Sam Wray and Vern Wegerer. Current CFO Larry Pithan joined firm in 1973, and President/CEO Paul VanDuyne joined in 1976.
1980-2008: TMAD acquired several respected firms, including TAYLOR & GAINES, and changed its name to TTG. KJWW grew to seven U.S. locations and opened its first international office in India. In 2006 KJWW acquired Chicago-based EME, LLC.
2009: TTG merged with Texas-based Goetting & Associates, founded in 1973.
2012: KJWW acquired Moore Engineers, located in Indianapolis, IN.
2015: TTG merged with KJWW Engineering, creating IMEG Corp.
2016: Michigan-based FES Group joined IMEG.
2017: Austin-based JanCom Technologies and Arizona-based Taylor RyMar join IMEG along with Midwest civil firms Missman, Inc. and McClure Engineering Associates.
