IMEG’s strategic acquisitions and its knowledge of healthcare trends are featured in Building Design + Construction’s 2018 Giants 300 Report. The annual report ranks U.S. architecture, engineering, and construction firms on total revenue, and places IMEG at No. 6 among all engineering firms.
The report’s lead engineering feature cites IMEG as joining a growing number of firms that are tapping into security technology consulting and references the firm’s recent acquisition of Texas-based security and engineering firm BLW Security Group (now doing business as IMEG). In the Giants 300 report on the healthcare sector – in which IMEG is ranked No. 3 – Client Executive Mike Zorich provides the firm’s perspective on emerging trends.
“The healthcare market continues to reach further into communities and away from the traditional hospital for many front-line services,” says Zorich. “Healthcare buildings used to be designed for more than 50-year life spans, but many of the smaller off-campus healthcare facilities are now looking at 20 years or less.”
