New High School

IMEG provided mechanical, electrical and technology engineering for a new 452,000 SF high school and site buildings. High School Addition and Renovation

A new addition and renovation at East Peoria High school includes a new two-story wing housing 17 classrooms; a new fine arts/chorus/computer lab area replacing the former cafeteria; new commons, cafeteria, serving, kitchen space; a new secure main entrance on the school’s east side, and a new physical education center. Expansion and Renovation

This project included both renovations and additions to the high school. The additions included a larger kitchen, a new classroom wing with science labs, art rooms, general classrooms, music areas, an auditorium and field house. New International School

McLearen Road Academy in Herndon, VA is comprised of a three-story, 325,000-sf international Pre-K-12 school and two office buildings. IMEG provided structural engineering design services for the complex facility. New Elementary School

IMEG’s Portland structural team (formerly Nishkian Dean) provided engineering design and services for the new 70,000-sf Metzger Elementary School in Tigard, OR. The design incorporated structural steel shell, steel studs, and brick veneer. The building includes a two-story classroom wing and a single story that houses the administrative office, commons, and gym.

Major Seismic Upgrade

IMEG’s Portland structural team (formerly Nishkian Dean) provided engineering design and services for the major seismic upgrade of Estacada Junior High School’s 1920s-era, two story brick and wood frame addition. The project included eight new classrooms and a covered play structure. 

New High School Gymnasium

IMEG’s Los Angeles structural team (formerly Nishkian Chamberlain) provided engineering design and services for a Hilda L. Solis Learning Academy’s new 15,000-sf, two-story gymnasium. The first floor of the new building houses a gymnasium as well as locker rooms and miscellaneous storage rooms. The second floor contains office space, dance halls, and a conference room. New Olathe West High School

IMEG provided commissioning services for the Olathe School District’s design/bid/build new high school project. This three-floor, 370,000-square-foot, $80 million high school was constructed with a non-performing construction manager responsible for administering all district contracts, including the three pre-purchased equipment contracts for variable refrigerant flow, dedicated outdoor air, and rooftop equipment.
