Jason Holdorf, PE, recently received the 2017 ASCE Outstanding Civil Engineer Award from the Iowa Section ASCE. The award is given annually to a member who is judged to have contributed substantially to the status of the engineering profession.
Jason works in the Bettendorf, Iowa, office of Missman Inc., an IMEG subsidiary.
Award criteria includes an established reputation for professional service, significant and lasting achievement in improving employment conditions under which civil engineers serve in public and private practice, significant contribution toward improving the professional aspects of civil engineering education, professional guidance of qualified young people who seek civil engineering as a career, professional development of young civil engineers in the formative stage of their career, and other evidence of merit by which the candidate has advanced the Society's objectives.
Jason has been with Missman for 15 years as a land development manager, providing personnel management, project management and land development design. He is experienced in city utility and roadway improvements, commercial, institutional, and residential development and design; construction estimating; storm water detention studies; and site plan design (including COSESCO and NPDES permits).
