Client Executive, Structural (Las Vegas)
In 1991, Fraser co-founded Mendenhall Smith Structural Engineers, which merged with IMEG in 2021. His experience includes notable structures, such as the Stratosphere Tower, which stands out against the Las Vegas skyline at 1,196 feet tall. Early in his carrier, he was considered one of the leading experts in post-tensioned concrete foundations, as built in the southwestern states, having helped introduce the construction method to the Las Vegas market and surrounding areas. As a design professional, he has worked on hundreds of buildings and other types of structures, including four different giant observation wheels, a 540–ft tall solar collector tower in the Nevada desert, a segmented precast post-tensioned bridge, and an array of amusement rides. He was previously a design committee member serving the Post-Tensioning Institute. Fraser holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees of Science in Engineering from Brigham Young University and is professionally licensed in civil and structural engineering.
