LKPB Engineers is observing its 50th year of business with an anniversary celebration themed “50 Never Looked So Good.” Founded in 1969, the firm will begin doing business under the IMEG brand beginning March 1.
“We’re proud of LKPB’s history and deeply appreciate all of our clients who have put their trust in us over the years,” said Principal John Costello. “In addition to celebrating our past, we are excited about the future as we begin operating under the IMEG name.”
A mechanical and electrical consulting firm with offices in Minneapolis and Rochester, LKPB was founded by Len Lundquist in 1969. Following many transitions over the years, the firm was led most recently by Lundquist along with John Killeen (a project executive still with the firm), Peter Potvin, and Gayland Bender. As the firm grew it went on to provide design services in many markets including education, healthcare, commercial/retail, corporate, government, and recreation. LKPB joined IMEG Corp. in 2018 and until now has operated as LKPB Engineers, an IMEG Company.
“We congratulate LKPB on their accomplishment of providing quality engineering for 50 years,” said IMEG CEO and President Paul VanDuyne. “We also recognize them for the contributions they have made to IMEG in the past year. The adoption of our company name is the final step in our integration, and I’m excited to have them begin doing business under the IMEG brand.”
