IMEG-designed apartments provide housing for homeless youth

The Laurel House, a 34-unit apartment building for homeless youthrecently opened in Grand Junction, CO. IMEG served as the structural engineer-of-record for the project, which provides housing for homeless youth ages 18-24.  

The apartments feature full kitchens and single bathrooms and are fully furnished. The building also has more than 3,000-sf of common space for community gatherings, electronic gaming, art, and cooking and 30,000-sf of outdoor space with a patio, play area, and recreational activities.
