IMEG-designed courthouse receives LEED Silver certification

The new Las Vegas Municipal Courthouse has achieved LEED Silver certification. IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology design and services for the four-story, 140,000-sf courthouse in downtown Las Vegas.

The new facility was designed to complement the nearby City Hall and expand the complex of city facilities. The new building houses the city’s municipal court functions, including traffic court, six courtrooms, offices, customer service, court administration, classrooms, and public space. Also included is a sub-basement level with secure parking and a sally port for prisoner transportation.
