IMEG-designed mixed-use facility wins historic preservation award

IMEG provided structural engineering design and services for The Legacy, a rehabilitated 1890s office and bank building in Bay City, MI, and winner of a Michigan Historic Preservation Network (MHPN) 2020 Building Award. The building underwent several transformations since 1921 and was renovated into a mixed–use facility housing retail space, a restaurant, and 26 residential units. 

The MHPN Building Award is given to an outstanding building preservation project that features exterior rehabilitation work and will be presented at MHPN’s 40th Annual Conference on September 21.
