IMEG partnered with Gallatin Valley Land Trust for Summer Trails Challenge Event

IMEG was a sponsor for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust’s 5th Annual Summer Trails Challenge eventin which local residents to hiked, walked, biked, and ran the GVLT trails on their own time from June 6-26. For every mile reported, GVLT received $1 from community businesses. In three weeks, nearly 4,000 participants logged over 58,000 miles and raised $50,000 for GVLT.

Over the years, IMEG (formerly Nishkian Monks) has provided engineering services to construct or install park amenities around the trails, including the structural assessment of all the pedestrian bridges along the Gallagator Linear Trail; the nine permanent sculpture pieces for the Bozeman Sculpture Park on the grounds of the Bozeman Public Library and along the Linear Trail; the wider and longer clear-span pedestrian bridge at Bozeman Creek leading from East Kock Street into Bogert Park; the Valley West Pavilion and Covered Bridges around Meyers Lake; the Hyalite Canyon Blackmore Pavilion and Picnic Area in Custer Gallatin National Forest; and the Kevin Mundy Memorial Bridge at the Drinking Horse Mountain Trail located across from the popular “M” trail at the mouth of Bridger Canyon.
