IMEG to design new bank headquarters in Creve Coeur
IMEG is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design and services for the new First Bank headquarters in Creve Coeur, MO, that will replace the existing facility on the same site. The new four-story building is expected to open in April 2024.
The new building will more than double the current office building at 85,000-sf and will consolidate employees from two other locations. The design will focus on providing meeting places for employees who work from home and the office. Employees won’t be assigned offices but will have access to a courtyard with electrical outlets so they can work outside and “huddle rooms” for meetings and private conversations. The first floor will house retail and commercial space along with an “innovation hub” for large meetings and socialization, and the fourth floor will have space for tenants or more offices for the bank in the future.
