Missouri Botanical Garden to break ground on new visitor center in January

IMEG is providing engineering design and services for the new Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. The $92 million, 90,000-sf facility will feature rare plants from around the world, an event space that can hold up to 450 people, a gift shop, meeting spaces, restaurant with garden views, and an auditorium.

Engineers are providing mechanical, electrical, technology, and plumbing design for the new visitor center. Officials will break ground in January and the facility will remain open during construction, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
