NASCAR’s Darlington Raceway to be renovated

Renovations are coming to NASCAR’s Darlington Raceway in South Carolina.

The project includes renovations to the sport’s second oldest track, dubbed “Too Tough to Tame,” with pit row crash wall infills, new pit row garages, and an extension to the existing concrete tunnel under the racetrack. New buildings include a new infield fan zone with a 60-foot TV screen viewing area, camper amenity buildings, and restaurants.

IMEG will provide structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design and commissioning services for the project as a subconsultant to Rossetti Architects.
