Three KJWW designs named ENR Midwest Best Projects

Fri, September 16, 2016

Three projects with engineering design by KJWW have been named ENR Midwest 2016 Best Projects. They are:

•Chicago Athletic Association: Renovation / Restoration category

•Benedictine University Goodwin Hall of Business: Higher Education

•Columbus Regional Hospital Building and Expansion: Health Care

The ENR Regional Best Projects Awards celebrate and honor the building teams that created the best projects of 2016. Independent juries of industry leaders in design and construction from each of ENR's 10 regional editions judge the projects on the project team’s ability to overcome challenges, as well as the project’s construction and design quality, safety record, and contribution to the industry and community.

In addition to the three Midwest Region awards, KJWW also won a fourth Best Project in ENR's Southeast Region for the University of Florida's Reitz Union renovation and expansion.

The Midwest winners will be honored at an awards ceremony Nov. 30 in Chicago; the Southeast winner will be honored Nov. 15 in Orlando. All winning projects also will be featured in upcoming regional editions of ENR, and will compete in ENR's Best of the Best Projects 2016, a national juried competition.
