Mike Zorich, PE, LEED AP, is a managing principal of the firm and serves as IMEG’s Chief Operations Officer (COO). He is a licensed mechanical engineer with more than 21 years of experience, all with IMEG – helping grow IMEG’s national portfolio and client base.

As COO Mike is responsible for IMEG’s overall engineering operations, growth objectives, and staff development. Throughout his career, Mike has worked closely with clients to understand the latest trends and best practices to best prepare them for future growth and flexibility – he applies this same approach to IMEG’s engineering operations. Mike has been instrumental in the creation of IMEG’s market sector development structure and is a strong contributor to the firm’s thought leadership strategy. He is a licensed mechanical engineer and was healthcare client executive for IMEG’s Quad Cities office prior to becoming director of healthcare in 2019 and vice president in 2022. He received his engineering degree from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie College of Business. In 2017 he was named one of ENR’s 20 Under 40 award recipients and is a member of ASHE, ASHRAE, and AMFP.
