Cameron Engineering joins IMEG, expands Northeast footprint

Cameron Engineering & Associates, a New York-based full-service engineering and planning firm, has joined IMEG, creating two new firm locations with more than 100 team members in the State of New York.

Founded in 1985, Cameron Engineering & Associates is comprised of civil, environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers along with landscape architects and planners, dedicated to providing sustainable planning and design services. The firm works on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, education, life sciences, healthcare, mixed use, municipal, sports, and workplace markets, to name a few.

“We are excited to continue our East Coast expansion and add Cameron Engineering & Associates to our team,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “Their full-service capabilities and market sector expertise align perfectly with IMEG, allowing us to serve more clients as a New York corporation.”

Cameron Engineering founder John Cameron said his firm is excited to become part of IMEG and help establish its New York presence. “The merger provides sustainability and growth potential for all our employees as well as our clients and teaming partners,” he said. “IMEG’s size and expertise also allows us to expand upon the innovative approaches and results-driven solutions we deliver to our clients.”

Mr. Cameron, and partner Joe Amato, will continue in leadership roles overseeing regional operations with existing Cameron leadership. The firm will continue to operate out of its current offices, doing business as Cameron Engineering, an IMEG company.
