Security expert adds active shooter training to IMEG services

Security and force protection expert Ryan Searles has joined IMEG as a senior consultant. As a member of the firm’s security design team, he will specialize in security assessment and protective services – including active shooter response training and workplace violence prevention. 

A U.S. Army veteran and recipient of two Purple Hearts, Ryan has more than 17 years of professional experience in security, force protection, and risk management for multiple-jurisdictional responses at local, state, regional, and national levels. He is certified through Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) as a Medical Instructor, Civilian Active Shooter Response Instructor, and Law Enforcement Response Instructor to Active Shooter Emergencies. His experience includes domestic and global operations across five continents, and he has managed risk upon multiple lines to protect life and safety, critical infrastructure, property, and equipment valued over $7M. 

In addition to active shooter and workplace violence consulting, Ryan can provide vulnerability assessments, emergency action planning, policy and procedure development, and drills and rehearsals. He also offers specialized consulting for high-risk terminations, proactive threat assessments, tabletop exercises, and business continuity planning.
