Mixed Used Development

IMEG provided technology, security, and acoustic design services for the redevelopment of Bottleworks. The mixed-used redevlopement of the historic Coca-Cola bottling plant includes a 120 room hotel, restaurants/bars, amenity spaces, support spaces, and a parking garage. Our approach to a wide range of integrated technology and security systems included: hospitality AV, network infrastructure, video surveillance and electronic access control. IMEG worked directly with tenants to design system functions in each space that support each specific hospitality need.

IMEG acoustical specialists provided guidance for construction material and techniques to ensure that background noise from adjacent entertainment spaces and mechanical noise did not disturb hotel guests or adjacent meeting spaces. Enhanced construction and acoustical techniques were applied for tenant spaces for high impact AV systems, such as the eight-cinema multiplex theater.

IMEG’s key system and capacities included acoustical recommendations for theater and hotel guest rooms, redevelopment of historic facility into boutique hotel, and integrating the new mixed-use site standards for infrastructure and security across multiple buildings.

The project design serves end users by providing creative solutions to protect historic elements. The technology infrastructure provides flexibility for new tenants or future changes in tenants while maintaining a standard for consistency, maintenance and expandability.
