New Student Housing Facility

IMEG provided plumbing design of Haggin Hall Student Housing at the University of Kentucky as part of a design-build team. Project design included sanitary, storm, and domestic water design. The facility was constructed due to the need for additional student housing at the University as well as revitalizing the core of campus. The 5-story, 154,000-sf dormitory consists of 12,000-sf for dining, additional multipurpose rooms, and classrooms. The dorm has 396 beds (163 units) single- and double-occupancy all private bedrooms. This project achieved LEED Silver and included geothermal heating and cooling.
