Built on Expertise, Driven By a Shared Passion
Our story is one that began organically and has evolved strategically through multiple firms coming together with a common goal of high-performance building design and a shared passion for people-centered engineering. By recognizing the power of similar synergies and cultures, we have been able to join together to create a national presence born from decades of experience. Because while IMEG was officially formed in 2015 with the union of several engineering firms*, our history is 100 years in the making.
But let’s talk about now. Today, IMEG is known for being on the forefront of engineering innovation. We engineered the first hospital in the United States to be served by a lake-coupled geothermal system. We designed the largest LEED platinum office building in the country. We were one of the first firms to bring medical equipment planning into our wheelhouse, allowing us to provide full healthcare design services. We created the industry’s first Design Consultant Certificate Program to support enhanced employee education.
And that’s the most important part of our story: it’s just beginning. We’re proud of what we’ve done and where we’ve been, but we’re most excited for what’s to come.
*In 2015 KJWW Engineering and TTG Engineers merged to form IMEG. Since the initial merger we have welcomed FES Group, JanCom Technologies, Taylor RyMar, Missman Inc, McClure Engineering Associates, BLW Security Group, MKK Consulting Engineers, LKPB Engineers, Nishkian and Associates, Desai/Nasr, Territorial Landworks, Inc., W.L. Cassell & Associates, Monroe & Newell, Clark Engineering, and Cardno Structural Engineering group.
