Dave Smith

David has spent his entire career with IMEG and has more than 30 years of experience in project management and engineering design. He plays an active role in project development, systems planning and selection, and coordination of design disciplines. He is passionate about improving healing environments with sustainable, flexible, and reliable infrastructures, and has transformed the operational costs and functionality of medical facilities. His expertise is in evidence-based design principles, and he is EDAC-certified by The Center for Health Design. David is a strong proponent of Lean Design and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through Purdue University. He also has extensive experience guiding and managing State of Wisconsin Division of Facilities Development (DFD) projects.
Dave graduated from the University of Illinois in 1980 with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, and is a member of ASHE, IES and ACEC.
