Kris Cotharn is Client Executive in IMEG’s Madison office and a principal of the firm, where she is well-versed in leading multi-discipline teams. Kris is also active in growing IMEG’s senior living market. Watch a 2-minute Q&A video with Kris.

As a licensed Professional Engineer, Kris is experienced in fire protection, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), piping, heat recovery, humidification, and special environmental plumbing systems. She is also skilled in facility assessments, feasibility studies, cost estimating, systems comparisons, life-cycle costing and energy analysis. As a LEED AP, Kris has led sustainable efforts for projects, identifying energy savings opportunities. She specializes in mechanical design for higher education, K-12 and public facilities including numerous State of Wisconsin Division of Facilities Development (DFD) projects.

Kris is a Professional Engineer licensed in four states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and is a member of ASHRAE and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
