IMEG-designed glulam building opens in Chicago

IMEG provided structural engineering design for the first five-story glulaminated (glulam) wood building constructed in Chicago in over 50 years. IMEG worked with Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture and Summit Design + Build, who owns the building, to design the new headquarters at 1040 W. Fulton. The project mimics Fulton Market’s history of using heavy timber construction.
