IMEG-designed Vehicle Environment Test Center to open in July

IMEG provided civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering and acoustic design services for Allison Transmission’s new Vehicle Environment Test Center in Indianapolis, Ind., which is scheduled to officially open on July 8

The new 60,000-sf center will house two environmental chambers that can simulate various environmental conditions and duty cycles, such as temperature extremes, altitudes, and other on-road conditions. This innovative center‘s controlled laboratory conditions will eliminate dependence on weather conditions and variations in fuel economy and performance testing, while providing reliable and repeatable data for product development.
