Recorded webinar on 90.1 fan efficiency metric now available
The recorded version of the webinar, “New Fan Efficiency Requirements in ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2019,” is now available on the AMCA International website.
Jeff Boldt, IMEG Director of Quality and Innovation, was a co-presenter for the free supplier webinar, which discusses the switch in ASHRAE 90.1-2019 from the Fan Efficiency Grade (FEG) metric to a new metric, the Fan Energy Index (FEI). Presenters also discuss how FEI is applied for sizing and selecting fans for constant-speed and variable air volume (VAV) systems and how to find FEI ratings from manufacturers.
