IMEG structural design of NVIDIA Phase II wins AISC IDEAS² Award

IMEG’s structural design of the NVIDIA Voyager project—Phase II of the NVIDIA corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, CA—won an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) 2024 Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel (IDEAS²) Award for Excellence in Architecture. The IDEAS² awards honor projects that highlight the benefits of using structural steel for its sustainability, cost, speed, reliability, and resilience.

IMEG provided structural engineering design for the new, 750,000-sf, three-story office building that houses a conference center, video recording studio, and a two-level underground parking garage. The building’s unique features include a faceted, architectural roof with 260 triangle skylights and an aluminum panel interior “heart” structure.
