Lean, design-assist delivery key to success of major St. Louis hospital project
The highly successful design-assist project delivery of the new SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital is featured in a recently published article in St. Louis Construction News & Review.
IMEG provided MEP, fire protection, and technology design for the $550M campus renewal project, which includes a 600,000-sf replacement hospital and new 200,000-sf ambulatory care center. The project is the first completely new adult hospital built in St. Louis since 1933 and is due to open Sept. 1.
In addition to covering the project’s lean, design assist project delivery, the feature also discusses the project’s use of prefabrication, virtual design, and robust integration of technology systems, led by IMEG.
