Medical equipment project featured in HCD magazine
IMEG provided technology and medical equipment planning for the McLaren Greater Lansing Medical Services Building and Karmanos Cancer Center, profiled in the August edition of HCD magazine.
The new, 175,000-square-foot facility in Lansing, MI, “exceeds McLaren’s operational goals while providing an elevated patient experience and at the same time enhancing community outreach,” states the profile.
The MSB includes an outpatient endoscopy suite, ambulatory cardiology services, EKG, stress echo, and 28 exam rooms. Women’s Imaging houses mammography rooms, ultrasound rooms, mammogram biopsy and stereotactic procedure rooms, as well as dilatometry and surgical exam rooms. The Cancer Center includes a state of-the-art tumor board, radiation oncology exam rooms, two linear accelerator vaults, HDR and CT simulation, and 36 infusion bays.
