Officials tour high-performance Denver water administration building

City of Denver Building Department officials recently toured the nearly completed Denver Water Administration Building, part of a larger Denver Water Campus Redevelopment.

The tour was led by Ken Urbanek, IMEG’s Denver Office Client Executive, who explained the highperformance building design techniques incorporated into the campus – pertinent information as city officials consider future changes to Denver’s energy code requirements.

IMEG provided MEP and fire protection design and building performance analysis for the building, which is targeting net zero energy, LEED Platinum, and the new “One-Water” initiative featuring cutting-edge capture, treatment, and reuse water systems.
