Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project

This busy airport airstrip was deteriorating and needed to be replaced. To proved a more long-term solution to runway maintenance, concrete was used to replace the rundown asphalt airstrip.

For the first phase of this project, the airport was shut down in order for construction to happen quickly and reduce disruption of the overall service. The airport remained open during the second phase of the construction. This included the pavement of the taxiway.

The project was completed on time, and within budget. IMEG teamed up with M.C. Schaff & Associates to design a new runway and additional improvements to revitalize this South Dakota airport for long-term future use and growth.
