Central Plant and Hospital Commissioning

IMEG provided commissioning services for a two-phase greenfield project that included a new central utility plant, 11-story patient tower, and an emergency care department. The new hospital is seeking LEED Silver certification. 

The commissioning agents provided design reviews, development of commissioning specifications and plan, and attended design phase meetings. This project was delivered as a design-bid-build with the feel of an Integrated Project Delivery method. IMEG was interactive and instrumental in the design aspects of the building, providing site observations, attending and facilitating meetings, submitting review and comment, developing the pre-functional checklist and functional performance test procedures, and witnessing the functional testing. IMEG also provided training supervision and oversight as well as the development of the Final commissioning report and systems operations manual.
