Data Center Build-Out

IMEG provided structural design services under an accelerated schedule for the build-out of an existing 126,800-sf shell building into a fully redundant data center on Shaw Road in Sterling, VA.

Sterling Colocation Site and Data Center Campus IV is on a 10-acre site located a short distance from Dulles International Airport. Security features include a reinforced physical structure, secure entry with steel-lined walls and bullet resistant glass, and a perimeter fence with entry and exit gates.

This Sterling IV facility can provide up to 12.6 Megawatts (MW) of power, making for robust connectivity, which is ideal for mission critical applications and Fortune 1000 companies with large-scale IT requirements. IMEG proactively collaborated with other project team members and disciplines to deliver the Sterling Colocation Site and Data Center Campus IV to market at an accelerated speed to help fulfill growing customer demand.
