IMEG provided engineering design and services for a new Hyatt House hotel in Chicago’s Fulton Market district, near the new McDonald’s headquarters.

The new 14-floor hotel includes 200 guestrooms (including extended-stay rooms), two-level parking garage, ballrooms, conference rooms, pool, fitness area, fourth-floor sky lobby, a guest amenity level, kitchen, bar and lounge with city views, and ground level commercial retail space. The hotel also has multiple green roof features.

IMEG provided MEP and technology design, as well as architectural lighting services for the hotel. The MEP design includes a central cooling tower plant and heating water plant with two-pipe vertical stacked water-sourced heat pumps in the guestrooms.
