Certified LEED Gold

IMEG provided structural engineering design services for this 600,000-sf office tower in downtown Denver. The high-rise building is 30 stories tall with 20 office floors, starting at Level 11, and has nine floors of podium parking above three underground levels. The building features an 11th floor sky terrace that offers a tenant-exclusive fitness center, indoor-outdoor social lounge, and an outdoor garden. The ground floor features a restaurant, retail space, and a massive lobby.

The structural system consists of a 13-level reinforced concrete parking garage (levels B3–10) and a 20-level (levels 11-30) steel structure with a roof-mounted mechanical enclosure. The post-tensioned concrete podium, which houses the parking levels and lobby, supports 20 levels of steel-structured office space that provides internal column-free workspaces and expansive 29,800-sf floor plates.

The exterior envelope features a custom unitized curtain wall system, a cable-framed point supported glass wall at the entry level, stone masonry, metal panels, and a single-ply membrane roof with vegetated roof terraces. The building also features a 40-foot-tall glass parapet crown and non-prismatic architecturally exposed concrete columns in the lobby.
