New Casino

IMEG provided structural engineering design services, along with construction administration and documents, for the 188,000-sf casino located on the banks of the Mississippi River. Because the lower level of the casino was not allowed to bear on the soft Mississippi mud, the first floor was designed with a two-way reinforced concrete slab supported on drilled piles, and all utilities are similarly supported. The stone clad and CMU clad exterior walls are supported on concrete grade beams and drilled piles.
