New Charter Elementary School and Theater

This Division of the State Architect (DSA) project consists of a new Charter elementary school and theater in just over 60,000 square feet. The north wing of the building is a two-story structure that houses learning pods, conference rooms, office space, and a greenhouse. The southern portion of the building is a one-story structure containing learning labs, a library and storage rooms. The west portion of the project contains the circular 300-seat theater structure. The building’s structural design consists of concrete over metal deck floors with steel beam and column framing. The lateral system of the building consists of special, concentric braced frames. Full project construction drawings were produced utilizing REVIT.
