New Distribution Center

IMEG is providing engineering design and services for IKEA’s new 1.4 million-square-foot distribution center.
The single-story facility is one of two planned buildings that will serve as the Swedish furniture retailer’s U.S. Midwest distribution hub. Together they will hold inventory for about 10 stores and fill orders placed by customers.

IMEG is providing HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural design for  the project, along with systems commissioning. The project is the latest  in a number of IKEA stores across the U.S. for which IMEG has provided structural design.
