New Three-story Facility

IMEG provided structural, MEP, fire protection, technology, and commissioning engineering design services for a new three-story, 107,000-sf medical education facility.

This project encompasses three floors and houses various health care educational programs including orthodontics, kinesiology, mental health, and graduate nursing. The complex includes a brick and glass facade with aluminum and stainless-steel accents that complement the school’s architectural character on campus while evoking a nod to the future. Key elements of the facility include a 43-chair orthodontic clinic, wet and dry laboratories, flex “social” laboratory space, a two-story kinesiology teaching laboratory, a 100 seat lecture hall, and multiple large seating classrooms (50+). The building also includes collaborative peer work areas, student lounges and associated administrative and faculty offices.
