IMEG provided civil engineering, surveying, and planning for the two-story detached 15,000-sf building addition with a small building connector on the second level to the existing 50,000-sf building. Site work included new parking and a vehicular drop-off area, play areas, and landscaping. IMEG prepared stormwater management plans, sediment control, and Green Area Ratio (GAR) plans per DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) requirements. New utilities were designed to service the new building. Traffic control plans were prepared for the connections into the existing water and sewer mains in the public right-of-way which was approved by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT).
