Security Consulting for New Facility

IMEG provided comprehensive security consulting services for the Center for Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing (CIADM) including Threat Assessment, Security System Design and Security System Commissioning. Security systems designed included:

  • Access Control and Alarm Monitoring

  • Security Voice Communications
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Vehicle Access Control

The project included the new construction of a facility to develop and manufacture vaccines to protect against pandemic influenza; provide therapies in the event of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats; and perform advanced development, accelerating vaccines and other biosecurity products.

As one of three centers established as public-private partnerships with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop and manufacture countermeasures, the Texas A&M Center for Innovation will respond to the need for rapid and flexible manufacturing to bolster the nation’s ability to respond to any attack or threat, including novel, previously unrecognized, naturally occurring emerging infectious diseases, as well as various chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.
