Service and Manufacturing Facility Expansion

Festo in Mason, Ohio added a 350,000-sf addition to the existing facility to accommodate Festo’s logistics, production center, and offices. IMEG provided lists of required mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and equipment, as well as reviewed the capacity of the existing utility and generator power systems against the projected load of the new facility. IMEG designed preliminary flow diagrams that accompanied the system description for the HVAC, compressed air, domestic water, fire protection, and electrical single line systems. System design included major duct routings, electrical single line diagrams, electrical service gear description and location, lighting fixtures, main domestic water and sanitary line sizes and routing, and underground sanitary and storm plan drawing, along with isometrics.
