Detroit’s new Godfrey Hotel to open in 2023 

The Godfrey Hotel is expected to open in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood in 2023.  

The new seven-story, 134,000-sf boutique hotel will include 227 guest rooms, Detroit’s largest rooftop lounge, a chef-driven restaurant, lobby bar, and event space. It will be affiliated with Hilton’s Curio Collection. 

IMEG is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services as a subconsultant to Neumann/Smith Architecture. IMEG also prepared a comprehensive energy model and report for guestroom mechanical systems and will provide commissioning.
