IMEG-designed Missoula subdivision first to be approved in new expedited review process
IMEG is providing survey, planning, and civil design for a new subdivision in Missoula, MT, planned by Miramonte Homes LLC. The development, Missoula Loft Homes, will include 162 housing units (both single-family and row houses) and three acres of park land. Most notably, the development is the first to move through the state’s new expedited review process.
Featured in Missoula Current news magazine, IMEG planner and civil designer Danny Oberweiser said the project was one of the quickest major subdivisions he’s seen go through the city planning and governing body review. Projects such as these can take many months before receiving final approval, but the Missoula Loft Homes project met all regulations and criteria with no variances due to the developer’s flexibility—allowing for a much faster approval process.
