New headquarters wins BD+C Team Award
Poettker Construction’s new headquarters in Breese, IL recently received a Bronze Award in Building Design + Construction’s 2020 Building Team Awards. IMEG provided structural engineering design and services for the state-of-the-art facility, which includes a 40,000-sf headquarters and 12,000-sf warehouse. The structural design included steel and glulam structural features and unique framing configurations for the 37-ft-high interior ceiling.
The headquarters features open collaborations spaces, an inhouse training room, offices, a 24-7 private fitness center, and a 3.5-acre outdoor sanctuary with a lake and walking path.
