Two IMEG projects are finalists for ICSC Global Design and Development Awards
Two IMEG-designed retail projects are finalists for the ICSC Global Design and Development Awards. The international awards recognize the best design and development trends in retail projects and retail store design. Winners will be announced Dec. 1, 2022.
A finalist in the Renovations/Expansions—Mixed-use projects category, The Bottleworks District in Indianapolis (pictured) is a $300 million, 1,500,000-sf redevelopment of what was once the largest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the world.
IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, fire protection, technology, security, acoustics, construction support, and architectural lighting for 350,000-sf of the project, including the 140-room Bottleworks Hotel, The Living Room Theaters, restaurants/bars, amenity spaces, support spaces, and a parking garage.
A finalist in the New Developments—Retail Projects under 150,000-sf of total retail space category, Equinox Beale Street is a 35,600-sf luxury fitness club in San Francisco.
IMEG provided structural design for the buildout—which was intensive because of the attention to architectural details—as well as vibration and acoustic isolation work necessary for a gym with high activity spaces.
